MACHINED ENGINEERING POLYMERS
In addition to our range of Fluoropolymer products, Beldam Crossley Ltd offer machined components in a range of engineering polymer materials. These include:
PEEK (Polyetherehterketone) - 450G and filled grades specially formulated for the aerospace industry.
Nylocross 2001(Polyamide Oil Filled) - a low cost, high performance oil filled Nylon 6. Ideal for bearings and gears.
U.H.M.W.P.E (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) - exceptional for both wear and chemical resistance.
P.O.M. “C” & “H” (Polyacetal “Copolymer” and “Homopolymer”) - Excellent fatigue endurance stiffness and impact strength.
P.E.T.P. (Polethylene Terephthalate) - Extremely high wear resistance, very low moisture absorption with FDA compliance.
Nylon PA 66 (Polyamide) - Universal all round material economical, abrasion resistant, tough and rigid.
Other materials available on request.
Finished Parts
Machining is the quickest and most economical way to produce small to medium quantities of finished polymer parts.
It can be the only way to produce complex parts with undercuts and threaded forms
