Pilotgraph 4040 is manufactured from 99% pure graphite and contains no binders, lubricant or other additives.
Advantages
High thermal conductivity and low coefficient of friction. Pilotgraph 4040 is listed by the United Kingdom Water Fittings Byelaw Scheme. For service with portable water ref: 9806507.
Chemical Resistance
Pilotgraph 4040 exhibits a high resistance to most reagents, for example: organic and organic acids and bases, alkalis, solvents, steam, condensator, hot oils and waxes. Exceptions are concentrated nitric acid, high concentrated sulphuric acid, chronic acid, permaganate solutions and molten alkali metals.
Service
Max. Temp. 500oc air. 650oc steam. 3000oc in inert gas conditions. ( 500oc in oxidising conditions).
Pressure 300 bar pH 0-14.
